I picked up this vintage Drexel china cabinet for $100, and while it was still a beautiful, well-made piece, years of wear and damage meant it was ready for a new chapter. I wanted to modernize it without covering up everything that made the original piece special, so I preserved the gorgeous mahogany interior and trim while refinishing the exterior in Sherwin-Williams Laurel Woods and updating the hardware with a metallic gold finish. And for the finishing touch, I brought in a little help from my neighbor Chloe for the final staging.
