NIFREL Interactive Aquazoo Osaka 🇯🇵｜ニフレル・いのちのミュージアム EXPocity Aquarium Walk

We visit NIFREL Interactive Aquazoo (ニフレル) at EXPOCITY in Osaka, Japan, beginning our walk after arriving by taxi on a hot, humid day. Stepping inside the indoor EXPOCITY mall is a welcome break from the heat, and we explore our way through the complex before reaching NIFREL. Along the way, we pass through the outdoor courtyard and see the impressive Gundam statues frozen in combat before arriving at the NIFREL entrance to purchase tickets and head inside. NIFREL’s calming lighting, music, and exhibit design create a peaceful atmosphere as we move through the different themed rooms. During our visit, we see a wide variety of animals including shrimp, hippo tangs, anemones, clownfish, sea stars, jellyfish, sharks, crabs, flounders, horseshoe crabs, garden eels, puffers, freshwater stingrays, crocodiles, pelicans, penguins, lemurs, birds, beavers, a large capybara, hippopotamus, and even a white tiger. We take breaks to drink water, eat lunch, and relax before ending our visit watching videos and enjoying the unique museum-style experience.
