Operation: Aunties – Amiyah Scott Talks New ALLBLK Film

ALLBLK’s gripping new made-for-TV movie Operation: Aunties stars legendary actresses Tisha Campbell (Martin, Act Your Age) and Melissa De Sousa (The Best Man), with Emmy Award-winner Wendy Raquel Robinson directing this powerful and surprisingly uplifting story. The film follows Dr. Carol Cleavers (De Sousa), a blockchain expert who—after a terrifying trafficking incident hits close to home—joins forces with her ride-or-die bestie, retired detective Sharon O’Hara (Campbell), and her tech-savvy niece Aminah (Amiyah Scott, Star). Together, the trio become digital-age vigilantes taking on a dangerous trafficking ring operating through a rideshare app. In this exclusive Lenox & Parker interview, EIC Christal Jordan Jennings speaks with Amiyah Scott about tackling such a sensitive topic without overwhelming the audience. “Wendy did a great job of addressing the seriousness while letting our characters shine—and even bringing in moments of humor,” she shares. 💥 Operation: Aunties premieres Friday, July 11, exclusively on ALLBLK. Don’t miss this powerful mix of tech, truth, and sisterhood. #OperationAunties #ALLBLK #TishaCampbell #MelissaDeSousa #AmiyahScott #WendyRaquelRobinson #LenoxAndParker #NewMovie #BlackExcellence #SexTraffickingAwareness
