Come wander Wanjiali International Mall in Changsha with me — not as a food challenge or a “top 10” guide, but the way I’d actually walk through a mall as a local.
We pass roughly 20 food shops across the ground floor and B1: bobo chicken, Xiangxi mini skewers, jiangban duck, fried chicken, fruit tea, Cha Yan Yue Se, CHAGEE, Malawangzi latiao, Luckin and more. Along the way there are free samples, a few things I genuinely buy, and a lot of very normal Changsha mall life.
By the end, I spent just under RMB 100 — about US$14 — on the things I actually bought. Daytime Ramble is less about telling you what you “must” do in China, and more about showing you what everyday life looks like from where I’m standing.
Everything in this video was shot handheld on my phone while I was just walking around — nothing fancy, just how the day actually looked.
