Building the retaining wall (Part 1)

In this video we are doing the excavations for a new retaining wall around the garden. First we remove the old wall and stairs, then we excavate the different levels for the wall foundations. I also use a core drill to make a hole in the stormwater system well, for the drainage behind the wall, that we will put in later in the project. This job is done with our older 2003 Mecalac MXT12.
