Celebration of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day & 75 Years of Pak-China Friendship 🇨🇳🇵🇰 UNI International, National University of Technology (NUTECH) & Star Light Village celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with national pride and fervor, while proudly commemorating 75 years of enduring Pakistan-China friendship. The ceremony brought together faculty, staff, students, and distinguished Chinese guests to celebrate Pakistan’s journey and honor the strong bond between the two nations. The celebrations featured the hoisting of the flags of Pakistan and China, national anthems, Watan Ki Awaaz poetry, patriotic songs, a special Chinese musical performance by Mr. Max Ma, an impressive Kung Fu performance, and a documentary highlighting the history and strength of Pak-China friendship. A special highlight of the ceremony was the Kung Fu performance by Star Light Village, featuring Chinese martial arts performers alongside Pakistani children. The performance beautifully showcased the spirit of cultural exchange, discipline, teamwork, and friendship between the two nations. Through dynamic movements, coordinated routines, and traditional Kung Fu techniques, the young Pakistani participants demonstrated how martial arts can inspire confidence, discipline, respect, and mutual understanding. The performance also served as a meaningful symbol of the people-to-people connection between Pakistan and China, showing how cultural activities can bring communities together and strengthen friendship among the younger generation. The event concluded with cake cutting and remarks by Rector NUTECH, Lt Gen Moazaam Ejaz, HI(M) (Retd), who highlighted the enduring bonds of friendship and mutual trust between Pakistan and China.
