Gaylor isn't Dead (Your Media Literacy Is, Tho)

AMG THE GAYLORS AND PERFORMANCE ARTLORS ARE CRASHING OUT Ummm broadly… no we’re not. But also insomuch as no other community is a monolith, there are always going to be some individuals crashing out... that’s not an indication of some prevailing "truth". And much of the crashing out wasn’t about the engagement meaning they're "wrong" but the fact that we recognized an influx of hostility was coming. We were right. Because we are already starting to see a ton of folks, even folks who should know better celebrating Gaylor as dead or over, both of which are mindsets that ignore the very real facts of this situation: that bisexual people exist, and that lavender and pr relationships are as old as the show business industry itself. If this relationship is so real, and if all of the Hetlors are finally getting their "fairytale proposal," then why is your first instinct to smack down at Gaylors? I'll give you a hint. It's because you can look at that. And you can tell that this is just more PR. You can tell that this is strategically being announced during a time that it is most financially beneficial for these two people.And that it is an incredibly milquetoast proposal at best. We will get into that in more detail, but when has Taylor ever had just ten words to say about anything that was of any importance to her? Go look through many of the lyrics of many of her songs. She is a poet. She is an effusive with her words. Especially when she loves something, especially when she cares about it. As I have been saying since the very beginning, this relationship is the bare minimum, and that is the point. The point is that fans claim to love her, but are very much more interested in her men and her relationships than they are in her. The point is that she definitely deserves somebody who is as in to her as she is into them which has not been communicated by their actions at all.
