Johnny Ringo: the real story of the Tombstone outlaw, told from the real photographs and records. Who was Johnny Ringo, did Doc Holliday really kill him, did Wyatt Earp, and why did a coroner's jury rule that he shot himself?
Johnny Ringo was born in Indiana in 1850. This Old West documentary follows him from his father's death on the trail west to the Mason County War, or Hoodoo War, in Texas, where he killed an unarmed man, to Tombstone, Arizona, the Cochise County Cowboys and his friend Curly Bill Brocius. Then the feud with the Earps: the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, his standoff with Doc Holliday, the ambush of Virgil Earp, the murder of Morgan Earp, and the Earp Vendetta Ride, when Johnny Ringo rode with Sheriff Johnny Behan's posse. Finally, his last ride in July 1882, the body found in the oaks at West Turkey Creek, and every theory about who killed Johnny Ringo, from Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday to Michael O'Rourke and Buckskin Frank Leslie.
