How to Propagate Yellow Buddha Belly Bamboo by Cuttings

There are a few different methods of propagating these out. The multiplex type bamboo, such as the Yellow Buddha Belly, is readily propagated by multiplex cuttings. In early spring, the culms can also be cut in 3 to 5in sections with node points and used to make new plants. I will do a video on that as soon as possible. The prices of bamboo have skyrocketed in recent years, and there is a fascination with it by many permaculturists and gardeners, especially clumping bamboo. Propagating these on a regular basis could be a great source to make some passive income, as each plant can easily sell for $30 to $50 for a small one.
