Guan Yu will take care of Yan Liang, then go completely defensive once he notices Liu Bei. This means you can ignore the right side for a while and focus on keeping the rest of your forces alive. It can go south for any side pretty fast if you haven't played the stage before to get a feel for it. Once Wu Chao opens it gets alot easier.
