Why I Don't Hunt With A Chest Rig

I don't hunt with binoculars or a rangefinder. Most of where I hunt in CO is thick timber, and I see animals with my eyes alone in the woods at close range. Bino harnesses hurt my neck, restrict my breathing when tightened enough to help, and all those buckles can snag my bow string mid draw. Instead I estimate range by experience, the same way I'd tell you to practice at your 3D range, guess the distance, then check it.
