Removal Of Sculptured Nail (20 Minutes) Sanitize hands Lift doll hand off of working SMA and dispose of the dust filled SMA and replace it with a new one Place the doll hand down on top of the new SMA Sanitize hands Sanitize doll hand Examine doll hand Using a cushion file, rough up the surface of the nail and then set the cushion file aside on working SMA Apply acetone to a piece of cotton over trash Close dehydrator cap and wipe with a new cotton ball Dispose of cotton ball Apply saturated cotton ball to the full nail enhancement and wrap in foil Note: foil folds should be facing up to avoid drippage Let the product sit on the nail for 5 to 10 minutes Remove foil and cotton and dispose of them Using an orangewood stick or a cuticle pusher scrape the enhancement product off of the natural nail gently Note: if residual product remains on the nail reapply a new acetone saturated cotton ball and wrap it in foil Buff the natural nail using a buff shiner until the surface of the natural nail is smooth using all three abrasives going from coarsest to finest Dispose of the buff shiner File to shape the free edge of the natural nail with an emery board Dispose of the emery board Apply dehydrator to cotton ball over the trash Close dehydrator cap and wipe with new cotton Wipe natural nail to remove excess dust from natural nail Dispose of cotton ball Note: if you must dust off your hands do so over the trash receptacle Apply cuticle oil to a q-tip over the trash Close cuticle oil cap and wipe with a new cotton ball Apply saturated q-tip to the eponychium Dispose of q-tip Rub oil into the eponychium using your thumb Fix doll fingers and turn the hand toward the examiner to indicate you have finished Sanitize hands Sit back and wait for further instructions
