Fiat X1/9 Indicator Rescue

The side indicators on my X1/9 are US spec, also acting as night-time reflectors. While changing the headlights noticed one had suffered water ingress - the water unable to naturally come out. To get rid of it had to drill two small holes, one to let air in, one to let water out. Not a difficult job - just be careful not to drill all the way through and out the front lens. The new bulb mount used was for a normal X1/9 side indicator. Slightly loose diameter wise so water sealed it with Dynax S50, then added duct tap, clamped each end with cable ties - forming a mechanical bond between orange lens and power-feed cable. Works like new and the two drilled holes are still there to let out any future water. I have no affiliation to Dynax.
