“King Ever Glorious“ is the only extended solo in English composer and organist Sir John Stainer’s (1840-1901) passion meditation “The Crucifixion“. In this video, Metropolitan Opera Company tenor Jeremy Little is the soloist. Alistair Reid is the organist and Keith S. Toth is the conductor. This video is from a complete performance of “The Crucifixion” as presented annually on Good Friday for over 100 years at The Brick Church, New York City.
