DJI Spark - 7 Advices for Beginners: CE Range, Charging, Maintenance

Coming from lower end drones, this one is quite .. special :-) There have been plenty of things I had to get used to. If you are flying in the CE region, you may like the idea of extending the range. One option is to use an OTG cable, which will give you results slightly better than 500 meters. You may also try the modified DJI Go app, which has not been created by me and I cannot confirm whether it contains spyware or not. Use with caution! And do not enter your real account information! I have used it to switch the TX to US region and uninstalled it. Quick tutorial: 1. Install the modded app. Do NOT enter your original credentials as I don't trust the app. Put random name and it will log you in. 2. Once the drone turned on and connected, go to settings, go to your transmitters serial number, tap on it and enter US as region. 3. Uninstall the modded app 4. Install the original DJI Go 4 app. After that every time I start the DJI Go original app it asks me whether I want to correct the region and I always choose "cancel".
