A 320 is a flight simulation and graphic adventure released by Loriciels for the Amstrad CPC in 1988.
The game places you in the role of the captain of an Airbus A320, where an ordinary passenger flight quickly turns into a dangerous situation involving air pirates. The game is divided into three main sections, beginning at the airport, followed by the flight itself, and finally an adventure sequence involving the hijackers.
The airport and island sections use a graphic adventure format, requiring you to explore locations, interact with people and objects, and gather information needed to progress. The flight section takes the form of a simplified flight simulator, where navigation and piloting are important to the outcome.
A 320 also makes use of digitised images of real people and locations, an interesting feature for an Amstrad CPC game of the period. The game was designed by Frederik Spada and Jean-François Streiff, with graphics by Christophe Perrotin.
