Today's Catholic Mass Readings — Monday, October 26, 2026 | Gospel Reflection

Daily Mass Readings and Gospel Reflection for Monday, October 26, 2026 | Monday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time. In today’s Gospel, Jesus heals a woman who has been bent over for eighteen years, revealing the compassion and liberating power of God. When the synagogue leader objects to the healing on the Sabbath, Jesus reminds His listeners that God's Law is meant to lead His people toward life, freedom, and mercy, never indifference to human suffering. By calling the woman a daughter of Abraham, He affirms her dignity and her place within God's covenant. In the light of Saint Paul’s teaching in Ephesians, this reflection invites us to imitate God's kindness, forgive as we have been forgiven, and walk in love as Christ loved us. True Christian holiness unites faithfulness to God's commandments with compassion, moral integrity, and a life transformed by grace. As children of light, we are called to recognize those who suffer and allow Christ's mercy to become visible through our daily actions. ► Full Gospel listening:    • Holy Gospel of Luke- Complete Reading (wit...   ► Timestamps: 00:00 Preface 00:20 First Reading 01:47 Gospel Reading 02:59 Gospel Reflection 16:38 Prayer 17:51 Closing 🕊️ May the Word of God guide your steps today.
