Every list of motorcycles that last 200,000 miles says owners report it.
That is not proof. Proof is a named owner, one specific motorcycle, and a record someone else can check.
These are the eight I could document, ranked from the thinnest proof to the strongest, with what was replaced along the way: a forum owner's photos, a magazine reader's letter, a dealer's service manager, a museum, Honda's own magazine, a maintenance log photographed by someone else, a Harley-Davidson ceremony, and four world records.

HOW THESE WERE CHOSEN
Each case needed a named owner, one specific motorcycle past 200,000 miles, and a published source. Left out: riders whose big numbers are totals across many bikes, claims that appear only as forum signatures or unsourced lists, and articles whose own details did not add up. In this search, Hayabusa, SV650, KLR650, Triumph and KTM 200,000-mile claims came with no named owner and no record. That does not mean it has not happened; it means I could not show it. The engine tally: replaced or rebuilt on three (Harley FXRT, 1975 Gold Wing, Scotto's Gold Wing); original or no failure recorded on three (FJR on the owner's word, 2015 Gold Wing on a sponsor's word, Indian per the maker's report); not stated for two (BMW, Kawasaki).
Miles a year, approximate: Indian 201,901; 2015 Gold Wing 100,000; Harley FXRT about 55,000 (18 years); Scotto about 47,000; Zahrt about 24,000 (41 years).
