2025 08 23 I H8 Camera Rubirock @ Rubigny Voetvolk

I H8 Camera is a full 100% improvisation, and many guests appear on the stage. Then we gently immersed ourselves in the always fascinating improv world of the multi-headed collective I H8 Camera. Orchestra-leader Rudy Trouvé, faithfully flanked by his talented friends, painted us a beautiful ‘rocking’ palette made of all kinds of hot funky arrangements, crooked jazz twists, hypnotic trance-kraut excursions, crazy-cool no-wave accents and some subtile arty noise rock stimuli. I def dig their style. I see them as a nice gang of friends who slowly transform themselves into a reliable constant as one of the musical certainties in the unpredictable Flemish musical landscape. Happy to cross them regularly. This was (again) a concert to frame. Rudy Trouvé | Stef Kamil Carlens | Wim De Busser | Teun Verbruggen | Nikkie Van Lierop | Teuk Henri
