We’ve been living in Panama for ONE YEAR… and this anniversary getaway turned into so much more than we expected! 🇵🇦❤️ We are celebrating 36 years of marriage, and we decided to spend our anniversary at the Sortis in downtown Panama City. What started as a simple anniversary getaway turned into a weekend filled with good food, beautiful places, old memories, new friendships, laughter, and some very real conversations about what life in Panama has actually been like for us. I also share a little bit about reaching our one-year mark living in Panama. There have been so many beautiful moments, but there have also been challenges—and one of those challenges has been not being bilingual. And then there's a moment between my husband and me that I almost edited out! 😂 But I decided to leave it in because THIS is real life. After 36 years of marriage, we're still laughing, joking, getting on each other's nerves, making memories, and enjoying this crazy adventure together. During our anniversary weekend, we: ☕ Had coffee and a croissant at the Sortis 🚶🏽‍♀️ Walked around downtown Panama City 🏊🏽‍♀️ Relaxed by the pool with piña coladas and chicken quesadillas 🏙️ Visited one of the most beautiful buildings in Panama 🧸 Visited Toys "R" Us—which brought back so many memories of my children and first grandbaby 🛍️ Explored a beautiful new upscale shopping center 🍕 Met up with some amazing friends we've made since moving to Panama 😂 Laughed and joked for hours ❤️ Celebrated 36 years of marriage 🇵🇦 Reflected on our first year living in Panama And because there was SO much happening, this is PART 1! Part 2 will go deeper into our first year in Panama, including more of my honest thoughts about this journey, the challenges, the changes, and what I'm learning about myself along the way. If you're thinking about moving abroad, already living abroad, or simply curious about what life in Panama is REALLY like, I hope you'll come along with us. And if you've been following our Panama journey from the beginning, thank you. ❤️ Don't forget to subscribe and come back for Part 2! QUESTION FOR YOU: Have you ever moved somewhere where you didn't speak the language fluently? What was the hardest part for you? #Panama #PanamaCity #LifeInPanama #PanamaVlog #LivingInPanama #ExpatLife #MovingAbroad #36YearsMarried #AnniversaryVlog #CouplesVlog #LifeAbroad #PanamaLife #OneYearInPanama #Over50Lifestyle #TravelVlog
