Last week Volkman P2 and Papalii P1 was a left-foot and right-foot combo that only played left side - they had zero right edge. Now Moses P2 and Papalii P1 gives them a genuine kicking game both sides and Kelly GK does not have to overcall. The Smith at 9 instead of Da Silva is also huge - Ryley Smith is a 55-tackle, scoot-heavy 9 who gives Paulo C quick play-the-balls, Da Silva off bench is better as a ball-player when Hopgood at 13 is tired. But Roosters get their spine back. Tedesco C at 1 for Bassingthwaighte is plus 8 points in yardage alone - Tedescos support lines off Robson at 9 and Savala P2 GK at 6 are elite. Cherry-Evans P1 second game in Roosters colours looked much sharper last week and now has Collins 10 and Leniu 8 and Watson 13 and Radley 12 and Crichton 11 as a pack that can actually match Paulo and Doorey and Hopgood. Last week Foketi and Watson and Wong got dominated through middle vs Broncos - this week Leniu and Collins and Radley is Origin-level middle. Matchup to watch is Addo-Carr vs Tupou on the wings both chasing high balls from Moses vs DCE. DCE will target Longi at 1 who is small under the high ball - expect Nawaqanitawase and Tupou to get 3-4 contested kicks. For Parra to win they need Moses to kick to Tedescos corner early and get repeat sets, then let Hopgood at 13 link with Papalii P1 on the right where Radley can rush. I think Roosters middle is too strong late. Tedesco straightens after half and Robson runs from dummy half when Smith is tired. Roosters by 16 - Tedesco 1 try 180m, Victor Radley 40 tackles, Mitchell Moses 1 try assist in losing side.
