What does it mean to serve?

You were never meant to simply attend church—you have a role to play in the body of Christ. Serving God is not about having the biggest platform. It is about understanding your place, being equipped, taking responsibility and faithfully doing what God has called you to do. In this message, we look at what it means to serve as part of the body of Christ through the word SERVE: • S — Sundays & Systems: Sunday gatherings matter, and every ministry role helps the church fulfil its mission. • E — Equipped: God equips His people for the work of ministry and for building up the body of Christ. • R — Responsibility: Serving requires hard work, accountability, passion, power and purpose. • V — Vocation: God has prepared good works for us and calls us to live according to His purpose. • E — Eternal Value: Our labour in the Lord is not in vain. The challenge is simple: don't just attend—serve. Every part of the body matters, and God has called each of us to play a part.
