Policromie investigates and analyzes the physical color with the color of the piano sounds. Each individual aphorism is based on short, well-defined musical gestures, which describe the initial idea of ​​the title to which each aphorism refers (Pulviscromia, Pointilisme etc.). This collection draws a parallel between figurative art and music going to investigate all those parameters that are present in figurative art such as light, color, material and building materials. I chose the aphoristic form to give greater variety to the collection and to be able to investigate more freely the various figurative parameters. The songs, all different from each other, work on various compositional parameters, in fact some of them use only a few pitches of the piano (therefore a limitation of the materials involved) while some are much freer and use the entire chromatic range of the piano.
