The Sounds of Springfield - Episode 1

Hi-Diddily-Ho, YouTuberinos! Welcome to "The Sounds of Springfield", a Youtube channel dedicated to taking a closer look (and listen) to how The Simpsons uses sound design and music. In this video we analyze scenes from classic episodes of The Simpsons "The Secret War of Lisa Simpson" and "Bart's Dog Gets an F". Learn how The Simpsons used audio processes such as futzing, reverb, delay, and more to enhance story and engage the audience. Edited, narrated, and with additional music by blouse-wearing poodle-walker Ian Vargo. Have an idea for an episode or want to get in touch? email us at: thesoundsofspringfield@gmail.com
