GCM--The Moosterious Barn Ep 1: The Babysitter Killer

Welcome to the Moosterious Barn, a podcast in the Golden Cattle Media family! The babysitter killer is a classic urban legend, but the 1950 murder case behind it is a grim piece of true crime history. We are kicking off the Moosterious Barn podcast by dissecting the terrifying babysitter killer trope. While many recognize the setup of a quiet house and a mysterious phone call, the actual events that may have inspired this folklore are deeply unsettling. This episode examines the tragic 1950 murder case of Janett Christman. By analyzing the circumstances of this unsolved crime, we separate the sensationalized stories from the documented facts to understand how a real tragedy transitioned into a cultural nightmare. Subscribe for weekly deep dives into the origins of our darkest stories, and let me know in the comments if you want to explore another case next. #unsolvedmystery #urbanlegends #goldencattlemedia #unsolvedmurders #babysitterkiller
