The most famous and central beach is Portorož Beach, which, due to its lively atmosphere, sandy parts, and great amenities, gets very crowded with both locals and tourists. It hosts beach bars and sunbed rentals with a sandy bottom suited for families, and lifeguards watch over their safety. St. Bernardin Beach is a concrete beach well-kept and accessible to everyone. It is beautifully provided with a big green lawn for sunbathing and various dining options. Medusa Beach is appreciated for its privacy and wonderful landscape, while Monfort Beach and Beach Grand Hotel Bernardin add to the list of those who are into spending their time at both passive and active rest.
