Join me today as we ground our energy with this gentle, Yin-inspired slow flow practice. Unlike traditional Vinyasa, this class invites us to linger in each posture, softening into stillness and creating space to connect with our breath and body. Similar to Yin yoga, we’ll hold poses longer than usual, encouraging a deeper release and grounding sensation. However, we won’t stay in them as long as a traditional Yin class (usually 5 minutes). Instead, we’ll find a balance between movement and stillness, allowing the body to gently open without strain. This practice is perfect for days when you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired, or simply in need of slowing down. It’s accessible for all levels and designed to help you unwind, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. All you need for this flow is a bolster - if you do not have a bolster you can use a pillow, cushion, or even a thick, rolled-up blanket. All these poses can also be practiced without a bolster/prop. As always, take this video as a guide, and always listen to your body first. I hope you enjoy this 20 minute yoga practice - if you do, please give the video a thumbs-up and leave a comment with your feedback down below!
