Spider-Man 2099 and Deadpool 2099 have to stop Carnage after he escaped from one of Alchemax's labs, seeking revenge on the CEO who tortured him. Loosely inspired by Marvel Comics' Spider-Man 2099: Dark Genesis. 🌹(R.I.P Peter David, creator of Spider-Man 2099) 🌟This project alone took 8 months and a ton of hard work and precise attention to detail to make. There were times in my personal life where I could just quit making this, but I didn't. I loved making this film with passion :) All that mattered to me was trying. That's the message of this video. The character was created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi in 1992 for the Marvel 2099 comic book line, and he is a futuristic re-imagining of the original Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. His true identity is Miguel O'Hara, an Irish-Mexican geneticist living in Nueva York (a renamed New York City) in the year 2099 who attempts to re-create the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and later suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be rewritten with a spider's genetic code. Carnage is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of Spider-Man and the archenemy of Carnage's father Venom, in particular the Eddie Brock incarnation of the character, although Carnage and Venom have joined forces when their goals have aligned. The character made its first full appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #361 (April 1992), and was created by writer David Michelinie and artist Mark Bagley, although the first published artwork of Carnage was penciled by Chris Marrinan.
