I went on a peaceful two-day bushcraft trip into a flat pine forest during early spring. The weather was warm and calm — a little cloudy at times, but the sun occasionally peeked through. Birds were singing all around, making the atmosphere truly relaxing. I built a shelter completely from natural materials. No rain was expected, so I used only sticks and dry reed grass to cover the frame. I found some beautiful, naturally decayed pine branches and used them to decorate the shelter. I wrapped them with four pairs of LED garlands, creating a warm and cozy glow in the evening. On the first evening, I made coffee over the campfire and baked potatoes in foil with slices of pork fat — a simple but tasty bushcraft meal. The next day, I cooked again using foil trays, this time baking potatoes with cheese and pork fat. Before leaving, I carefully cleaned the campsite. I took all the trash with me and completely dismantled the shelter. I always follow the “leave no trace” principle — the forest should remain just as beautiful for the next visitor. It was a refreshing and rewarding experience in the heart of nature.
