"The year 1977 became a dark time: war between the people of the Papua Highlands and the TNI destroyed our village of Mbadima (Pyramid). Our homes and all we owned were burned down — even our father was killed. Our mother fled into the forest with her three children, and this song tells the story of our life as refugees during those days."
