The player takes on the role of the titular Warlock who must face an impending threat from monsters invading his world through an open portal. The source of this danger is Die Heilige Gottheit, a divine being whose actions led to the opening of a passage between worlds. The hero’s task is to traverse dangerous locations, fight enemies, and explore new areas to stop the threat. The gameplay is presented from a top-down perspective and features 25 hand-designed levels where you can find hidden spots, treasures, teleports, and traps. The hero has five types of weapons at his disposal and encounters eight types of enemies along the way. By defeating enemies, he gains experience and develops his character, unlocking new abilities through upgrades, perks, and curses. Certain events may attract additional enemies, so you must remain vigilant while exploring and choose your combat strategy wisely.
