How Your Website Menu Works in Housing Market Cloud

Housing Market Cloud builds your website’s menu for you from the pages you create — there is no separate menu editor to keep in sync. This tutorial shows the pages that make up the menu, renames a page so its menu entry changes, and sets where a section’s buttons lead: the home page, another page, the listings page or the enquiry page. When your website has listings, a link to them is added to the menu automatically. Open your Housing Market Cloud console. 2. Click Edit next to your website. 3. Your pages make up the website menu. 4. Open a page — e.g. About us… 5. …and rename it: the menu entry changes too. 6. Buttons use Opens to choose where they lead. 7. Home page, another page, listings or the enquiry page. 8. Click Save and check the menu in the preview. Keep page titles short — two or three words work best in a menu. Point your main buttons at the pages that lead to enquiries, such as Contact or the listings page. Add a page only when it has real content; a short menu is easier to use. Check the menu in the preview after saving. Good to know: • Your Housing Market Cloud login is your Housing Market account — the same email and password work across Housing Market Group products. • The Free plan has no time limit: publish up to 20 properties on your free subdomain. • Enquiries from every page of your website are listed under Enquiries in the console and are also emailed to you. • Photographs for website sections come from a library of professional real estate images included with Cloud; your own photographs belong to your listings. • The editor preview always shows the last saved version of a page, exactly as visitors will see it after you publish. • The console is available in 17 languages and follows your system's light or dark setting. • Enquiries in the console can be marked Contacted or Spam and carry your own notes, so a team never answers the same person twice. • Portal sync imports the listings of the portal account you connect; the Last sync panel shows what was added or changed, and listings without a description are skipped. • Visitors in the console shows how many people came to your website and where they came from, including the Housing Market portals and search engines. • Stuck?
