I sat down with Ade to explore the Orange OR60, a 60-watt valve amp with massive headroom and unmistakable British character. From glassy cleans to thick, hairy drive, this amp leaves a mark on me. The OR60 builds on the OR30 platform but runs dual 6L6s, with presence and resonance controls that really shape the lows and highs. There’s also a switchable plate voltage that changes the feel, nudging the output stage toward a more Class A-style vibe while keeping that Class AB punch.
