Hoover Elementary Schoolyard Build | Eat. Learn. Play.

We're excited to share this amazing, upgraded schoolyard with the students and community of Hoover Elementary School, featuring a new and improved play structure, nature exploration area, and multi-sport court. Thank you to the Bhusri family for their generous support and our partners at KABOOM! and Oakland Unified School District for working with us to bring the students' ideas to life! Since our launch in 2019, Eat. Learn. Play. has revitalized nine school and community play spaces, with four more planned this year at elementary schools across Oakland.
