"English text" Fortuna skiving machine knife shaft and ball bearings assembly

Requested English version of the previous video which explains Fortuna skiving machine knife shaft assy in Japanese. Do not refer this video if your machine is not Fortuna with black plastic adjusting knobs. Completely different from others. Fortuna manual states: --- The bearing system has no play and no readjustment is ever required in the knife shaft. During assembly the bearings are filled with high-quality lubricating grease, and closed by sealing rings. Thus, the knife shaft is maintenance-free. The knife shaft has selected and fitted-bearings which should be replaced by the manufacturer only. --- Don't underestimate Fortuna's manufacturing standard. It is far superior than major industrial sewing machine manufacturers' standard which you may be familiar with. You know Fortuna had been manufactured industrial cylindrical grinding machines. I checked all bearing balls and races and found nothing wrong. All I could do was cleaning and re-lubricating bearings with high load CV-joint grease which may be inferior grease than they packed. Although I did not mentioned in video, be sure not to put the shaft sleeve wrong direction. I did mistake in this video. The shaft sleeve has a slot on one side and it should be located far from the knife flange.
