Day 4 on the Nieuw Statendam took us to San Juan, Puerto Rico! Morning started with duck-hiding on the ship and a Dive-In lunch (the Jack Knife hot dog might be the best thing we ate all cruise). Then we explored Old San Juan, did an international soda taste test (sneaking drinks back on board), and ran into major room service drama. Our breakfast order vanished… multiple calls… blame game… until the manager showed up with an apology and chocolate-covered strawberries. We ended the night with a huge room service feast and a late sail-away.
