An empty boardwalk in Ocean City, MD, was evacuated for Hurricane Irene

Everybody left town to avoid Hurricane Irene that was due to hit the next day. This boardwalk is usually packed with thousands of people but tonight it was like a ghost town with the evacuation of all of Ocean City, Maryland and all the other beach towns on the east coast. But yes, there were but a few local people still around though.
