Today we'll be looking at the Republic Commando mod by Anakin. A new mod that brings the Star Wars: Republic Commando experience to Star Wars: Battlefront II. This era mod adds a brand new Republic Commando era to all of the stock maps and also comes with new sides, weapons, new menu skin, RC-style loading screens, Republic Commando soundtrack and coolest of all, the first person mode Republic Commando HUD. The Republic sides are replaced entirely with new commando classes such as the Explosives Commando, Commando Medic, Airborne Commando, Havoc Commando and the Elite Commando. All of these units come with weapons found in Republic Commando such as DC-17 Blaster Rifle with both Sniper and Anti-Armour attachments for some classes and all three for the Elite class. Other weapons include the ACP Array Gun, LJ-50 Concussion Rifle, ACP Repeater Gun and Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon. This comes with the first person Republic Commando HUD in each class. HD skins are included, along with civilian sides such as the Jedi and clone troopers.The CIS are also revamped with new skins. Overall, the mod is a fun play and I recommend it for you Republic Commando fans.I find the mod cool because you feel like a commando when you are just straight up destroying each droid in your path and the skins look so good, I just like the mod a lot, I feel just like a clone commando.
