What do you actually do in DYSMANTLE? Is it just another zombie survival game, or is there much more hiding beneath its post-apocalyptic world? In this video, we take a detailed look at DYSMANTLE, an open-world survival action RPG where almost everything around you can be destroyed and turned into valuable resources. After emerging from an underground shelter, you find yourself on a mysterious island where civilization has collapsed, abandoned towns are overrun by mutants, and nature is slowly reclaiming the world. Your mission is to explore the island, survive dangerous encounters, uncover its secrets, and eventually find a way to escape. But getting there involves a lot more than fighting monsters! 🔨 *Destruction & Crafting* – Break apart furniture, vehicles, walls, and countless other objects to collect materials, craft powerful tools, and unlock better equipment. 🌍 *Exploration & Progression* – Discover abandoned cities, forests, deserts, snowy regions, hidden locations, ancient tombs, and mysterious underground facilities. Level up your character and unlock new abilities along the way. 🧟 *Combat & Survival* – Fight different types of mutants, encounter dangerous bosses, upgrade your weapons, and gradually clear entire regions of enemies. 🏗️ *Building & Defense* – Construct useful structures, process resources, and take on special defense challenges using automated turrets. 🌱 *Farming, Fishing & Cooking* – Grow crops, hunt wildlife, catch fish, discover recipes, and earn permanent character upgrades through cooking. 🧩 *Secrets & Mysteries* – Solve puzzles, discover hidden treasures, investigate what happened to the island, and work toward uncovering the truth behind its strange history. We also cover the game's three DLC expansions — Underworld, Doomsday, and Pets & Dungeons — along with its cooperative gameplay options. Of course, DYSMANTLE isn't perfect. We'll also talk about repetitive resource grinding, its relatively simple combat system, travel across the enormous map, and the limitations of its building mechanics. *My rating: 8/10.* DYSMANTLE offers a surprisingly addictive mix of exploration, destruction, crafting, and character progression.
