Ave Maria - SATB

Ave Maria (2007) Sheet music available here: https://notevaluemusic.se/product/ave... This Ave Maria for SATB mixed choir was composed in 2007 for the church music students at the Malmö Academy of Music, where I was studying at the time. The work is a setting of the traditional prayer to the Virgin Mary, shaped by a desire to express the intimacy and quiet beauty of the text through the rich sonorities of the choir. With its mellow harmonies and meditative character, the music invites the listener into a space of stillness, reflection and inner peace. The piece is also dedicated with love to my grandmother, Maria, whose name and presence give this setting a special and deeply personal significance. Duration: Approximately 4:30–5 minutes
