Final Fantasy 7 Special Battle guide: How to unlock Special Battle and get Final Attack Materia

Once you get Omnislash and W-Summon from the Battle Square in Final Fantasy 7, the Special Battle will unlock. This secret encounter sees you face off against many of the final battles in the Battle Square one after another, ending in Proud Clod, a late-game boss. Completing the challenge earns you the Final Attack Materia as a reward. This can only be fought with Cloud, and this video uses a melee-centric build to win.
