My Best Friend and I Rode Motorbikes to Laos (on a Tuesday)

Me and my best friend James rode 350cc bikes from Chiang Mai to Laos on a random Tuesday for a visa run. We ran out of fuel in the mountains, got caught in a storm, raced the border clock, and ate about 4 kilos of meat at a family buffet in the most random town in Laos. Almost nothing went as planned. And that's exactly the point. Travel isn't about how much you can do in one day. It's about what the experience does to your inner world. This trip meant a lot to me. I haven't been exploring much lately, and getting on a bike and riding to another country with my bro felt like pure freedom. I'm so grateful for it.
