Volant, PA

Volant is a borough in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. The land on which the borough of Volant currently sits on was bought from Native Americans in 1784. The first gristmill was built on Neshannock Creek in 1806, a new mill was built in 1812. Volant is surrounded by Amish farms and is a unique area with quaint shops, wineries and distillery. I especially enjoyed watching the fly fishing at Neshannock Creek, there is rainbow and brown trout I'm told.
