Scott Joplin -- Bethena, a Concert Waltz

My performance of Scott Joplin's 1905 syncopated waltz, "Bethena". I performed this for reddit /r/piano's Piano Jam #22. This beautiful piece was published at a difficult time in Joplin's life. But for the ragtime revival of the '70s, it would probably have been lost on the dustbin of history. Published by a minor publishing house, it was not a commercial success, and, like most of Joplin's works, had faded into obscurity before the 1930s. It would have been lost but for the Joplin revival of the 1970s. I'm glad fate rescued it.
