The work explores two contrasting characters: Meditation, a personal reflection shaped by each pianist’s touch and imagination, and Rhythm Obsession, driven by strict rhythm and a fast tempo. Daria Podorozhnova was awarded Second Prize and the Best Contemporary Piece Award at the 2025 Olga Kern International Piano Competition.
