"The Starship Darkstrider" — Track 13 from When Doppis Collide The Doppi saga continues. Floppy Doppi has infiltrated a criminal casino, lost all her money, and escaped with RC 2U’s severed head. Now she must endure something even worse: Dressing as a Grundig. Disguised beneath rubber masks and foul-smelling armour, Floppy and Grogor join a team of Secretum Tersorii guards travelling aboard the Starship Darkstrider. The deception works perfectly. Too perfectly, one of the Grundigs thinks Floppy smells irresistible. He offers her gifts. He offers her relatives. And he offers to prepare a particularly personal cup of coffee. When Doppis Collide is the fourth album in the Doppi saga — a comic science-fiction rock opera following Floppy and Soppy Doppi as celebrity, criminal conspiracies, personal grudges, and extremely poor decisions draw their lives together once again. I am SC London, an artist that creates unique universes and then brings them to life as comic rock operas. I write my own songs and use AI for the performance and visual illustrations. My channel features several fictional universes, each with its own characters, tone, and musical style. Every album tells a complete narrative, and the playlists are arranged so you can experience each world in order. Creator / Artist: SC London Fictional Universes I write in include: The Doppiverse — Home of Floppy Doppi, a comedy sci-fi space opera following bounty hunters, crime lords and accidental heroes across the galaxy. The Silver Sentinel Universe — A dark science fiction horror series exploring identity, autonomy and what it means to be human, set against the relentless expansion of a cybernetic hive. The Thin Red Line — A British superhero team operating out of Croydon as part of the Home Office. D'Snir's Keep — A fantasy swords and sorcery world of dark elves, dangerous dungeons and deadly secrets. …and more as they evolve. Each universe is its own self‑contained story project — none of them are autobiographical. She held up a rubber Grundig mask, And asked, “Will this really do the task?” Grogor replied, “It will be all right; They trust their noses more than sight.” Now disguised, they joined the team; The Grundigs fooled — it worked a dream. They travelled up the boarding ramp, Into the hold of a flying tramp. Trying not to breathe too deep, Trying not to faint or weep. The Darkstrider, a vessel old, Mouldy bunks and freezing cold. For Purgamentorum they were bound, Unless their true selves e’er were found. A hulking Grundig sniffed the air, Turned to Floppy with a hungry stare. “By my earwax, you are so cute — You smell of six‑year‑old beetroot.” “The finest Grundette I’ve ever smelt; I feel my heart about to melt.” Floppy froze, her stomach tight; Grogor whispered, “Just be polite.” The Grundig bowed and whispered sweet, “I’ll share with you my dearest treat —” A little token of my heart, I give to you a little fart.” Floppy turned and tried to run, But her ordeal had just begun. The Darkstrider, a vessel old, Mouldy bunks and freezing cold. For Purgamentorum they were bound, And true love has now been found. He offered her his own grandmother If she would become his ardent lover. He offered her his cousin next; Floppy said, “You’re over‑sexed.” The Grundig cried, “I’ll prove my love, And all for you, my fragrant dove. These coffee beans have been inside My digestive tract, then out backside.” “Let me make for you a pungent brew, And show to you my feelings true.” Floppy whispered, “Please… no more…” And edged her way toward the door. For three days she hid beside The lavatory for the whole damn ride. The Darkstrider, a vessel old, Mouldy bunks and freezing cold. For Purgamentorum they were bound — And Floppy dared not make a sound. The base set in dark star’s glow, A docking bay lit faint and low. They disembarked and looked about; The admirer saw her and did shout: “One last token!” he implored. Floppy covered ears and ignored. Then sudden smash — a roaring sound — The station struck with blow profound. The bulkhead cracked and air sucked out; Disguise flew off and left no doubt. The Grundig saw his love’s true face As decompression took him into space. Floppy and Grogor held on tight To not get sucked into the night. The Darkstrider, a vessel old, Mouldy bunks and freezing cold. At Purgamentorum they arrived, We’re not yet sure if they survived.
