In today’s vlog, I’m taking you along for a simple weekend in my life in Vietnam. We start the morning with some grocery shopping at a convenience store and a small local market near my home. I spent around $12 on vegetables, seafood, mushrooms, noodles, and other ingredients—enough for more than one family meal. Then we head home, where my mom and I prepare everything together. Today, I’m making a Thai-style hot pot with lots of fresh vegetables, fish, shrimp, clams, and mushrooms. 🍲 We don’t often have all four of us sitting down for a meal together because my parents and my husband and I have different schedules. So simple moments like this always feel a little special to me. 🤍 I hope this vlog gives you another glimpse into everyday life in Vietnam from a local perspective.
