In this video, I take on a complete Fast & Furious-inspired Dodge Challenger restoration, starting with a severely abandoned deep-black 1970 Challenger covered in rust, oxidation, dirt, damaged paint, flat tyres, corroded mechanical components, and a completely neglected interior. After buying the abandoned muscle car for just $500, the restoration begins from the ground up. The Challenger is transported to the workshop, completely cleaned, stripped down, inspected, and disassembled before the real work begins. Rusted floor sections, rocker panels, quarter panels, trunk areas, body seams, suspension, brakes, fuel system, transmission, differential, and engine all receive detailed restoration work. The original engine is rebuilt, the transmission and differential are restored, suspension and braking components are renewed, and the damaged body is repaired using proper metal fabrication, welding, sanding, primer, and body preparation. The Challenger is then returned to its deep gloss black finish before being carefully reassembled with restored glass, lights, trim, interior, dashboard, period-correct wheels, and mechanical components. The final stages include the first engine start, brake testing, wheel alignment, detailing, and the long-awaited transformation reveal.
