How I Became a Blockchain Developer | My Complete Placement Journey (Tier 3 College to Mumbai)

How I Became a Blockchain Developer | My Complete Placement Journey 🚀 From a Tier 3 college in Nagpur to an unpaid internship, a 6-month unpaid internship in Mumbai, hundreds of rejections, thousands of applications, and finally multiple job offers — this is my complete placement journey. This isn't a perfect success story. There were months when I had no idea whether I would get placed. I was applying everywhere, asking for referrals, sending cold emails, attending walk-in interviews, getting rejected, and watching people around me get placed while I was still searching. At one point, I had applied to nearly 2,500 jobs, sent 100+ DMs and around 1,500 cold emails to HRs. I was just trying to make sure I didn't have to go back home without a job. In this video, I take you through the complete journey — from my college life and my first unpaid internship to moving from Nagpur to Mumbai, working at a multinational company, surviving the pressure of an unpaid internship, preparing for placements, facing rejection after rejection, and eventually landing multiple offers, including one from a premier R&D organization in India. If you're a CSE student, fresher, or someone currently struggling with internships, placements, or your first job, I hope this story gives you a little perspective. Sometimes the hardest phase of your life is preparing you for something much bigger. ────────────────────────────────── 🎬 MY PLACEMENT JOURNEY ────────────────────────────────── • Life at my Tier 3 engineering college • How I got my first internship • Why I accepted an unpaid internship • Preparing for my 6-month industry internship • The IT recession and its impact on placements • Choosing Mumbai over a safer option • Moving from Nagpur to Mumbai • My 6-month unpaid internship at TOYO Engineering • The struggle of finding an apartment in Mumbai • Waiting for a PPO • Getting my internship extended • My Plan B for finding a job • Applying to thousands of jobs • Cold emails, DMs, referrals & walk-ins • Facing rejection every single day • BlackRock interview experience • Getting shortlisted by multiple companies • The final days of my internship • How I finally got multiple offers • How I became a Blockchain Developer ────────────────────────────────── 👤 ABOUT ME ────────────────────────────────── Hey, I'm Adarsh Chouhan — a Software Engineer working in the AI & Blockchain domain in Mumbai.
