I made these lovely socks with Super Garne yarn, Aktiv cone, "rainbow" colorway. No lycra. I do use a suicide wrap, and I do a round toe/heel. This toe was turned on the back of the cylinder so the pattern of the yarn will continue over the top of the foot and break on the underside of the foot. Here's the road map: 64 cylinder on my Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster Waste yarn + 1 row ravel cord (#10 aunt lydia's crochet cotton) switch to project yarn 10 rows pull tab 10 rows remove weight & hang hem, replace weight knit the hung hem, reset counter 15 rows preeheel deep +3 heel, round 57 foot rows round toe on the opposite side of the cylinder than normal waste yarn Done Super Garne yarn: https://www.supergarne.com/Aktiv+4-fa... If you don't want to pay shipping from Germany, Jamie at CSM Supplies also carries super garne yarn: https://csmsupplies.com/ If you have questions about my sock log, weights, or any tools/references I use, the answer may be here: http://www.crazymokes.com/2019/10/soc...
